Pinocchio combatte contro i compagni e, avendone ferito uno, finisce in prigione

Giunto alla spiaggia Pinocchio si accorge che i compagni gli hanno teso una trappola: non c’è mai stato nessun Pescecane e tutti cominciano a sbeffeggiarlo. Il burattino non riesce a capire il motivo finché uno di questi non glielo spiega. Tutto è stato per fargli saltare un giorno di scuola: egli è a loro parere troppo disciplinato e quindi ha meritato quello scherzetto. A quel punto comincia la lotta: tutti i ragazzi cercano di colpire Pinocchio con ogni tipo di libro, ma egli schiva ogni colpo. Dopo mille tentativi, la disgrazia: uno dei compagni ne colpisce per sbaglio un altro. Tutti rimangono sbigottiti e fuggono immediatamente, a parte Pinocchio, che rimane ai piedi del compagno svenuto, cercando di rianimarlo. Mentre è lì inginocchiato arrivano due carabinieri che lo credono colpevole dell’accaduto. Il burattino cerca di discolparsi, ma è comunque costretto a seguire i due in carcere. Durante il tragitto si accorge però di avere perso il cappello e chiede di tornare a prenderlo. I carabinieri acconsentono, ma quando Pinocchio torna al lido anziché raccogliere il cappello, fugge, inseguito da un feroce mastino. I due corrono sino alla riva e Pinocchio si getta nel mare. Il cane nella foga lo segue e si dimentica di non saper nuotare. Dopo poche bracciate il poveretto comincia quindi a bere e a chiedere aiuto. Il burattino decide allora ad aiutarlo e il mastino, ormai salvo, promette di ricambiare in futuro il favore. Pinocchio a quel punto prosegue nuotando accanto alla riva, finché non si trova imprigionato nella rete di un pescatore, che lo crede un pesce. Il povero malcapitato cerca di spiegare l’equivoco, ma l’uomo affamato non si lascia convincere e si prepara a buttarlo in padella.

Pinocchio fights with the comrades and after injuring one, he ends up in prison

When they got to the beach, Pinocchio noticed that his comrades had set a trap for him. A shark had never been there and everyone starts laughing at it. The wooden dummy cannot see the reason for this until one of them explains it to him. It was all about getting him to skip school for once. In your opinion, he is too disciplined and consequently deserves this joke. This is where the brawl begins. All the boys try to hit Pinocchio with any book, but he dodges every hit. After trying a thousand times, disaster finally happens. A comrade accidentally hits another. Everyone gets frightened and flees immediately, except for Pinocchio, who remains at his comrade's feet and tries to revive him. While he's still kneeling there, two police officers arrive, believing that he's to blame for what happened. The wooden puppet tries to justify himself, but is still forced to follow the two to prison. On the way there, however, he realizes that he has lost his cap and asks if he can go back to get it. The cops agree. But when Pinocchio has reached the beach, he does not pick up his cap, but flees pursued by a wild dog. Pinocchio throws himself into the sea. The dog in his zeal follows him, but forgets that he can't swim. After just a few arm strokes, the poor man begins to swallow water and ask for help. The wooden doll decides to help him and the dog, after being rescued, promises that he will pay his debt in the future. Pinocchio continues to swim along the shore until he gets caught in the net of a fisherman who mistakes him for a fish. The poor hapless man tries to clear up the misunderstanding, but the hungry man is unconvinced and sets about throwing him into the pan.
